Wealth distribution statistics are very abstract for most people. All you can eat is intended to give people a playful and more intuitive access to such facts. Furthermore, the work should make it tangible that small advantages at the beginning can be more important than constant hard work. All you can eat achieves this in the form of an interactive game for 2-8 people with minimalistic design and few simple rules. A positive feedback-loop ensures an unbalanced outcome. As such, this deep space 8K installation quickly brings out feelings of superiority as well as frustration. The outcome is compared to real wealth statistics. Multiple runs with varying intensity of the positive feedback-loop offers opportunities to reflect on one’s own point of view. Bäuerin.Macht.Image – Documentary
This documentary shows everyday life on Austrian farms with a special focus on female farmers who still have to struggle against traditional role allocations. It was developed by Sabine Traxler and me within the framework of the project "Bäuerin-Macht-Image". The film premiered at the festival "Der neue Heimatfilm" in Freistadt in 2014. It was also shown at the Moviemento in Linz and at cinema in Lambach. The next scheduled presentation will be in the cinema in Katsdorf on the 30th of January, 2015. Bäuerin-Macht-Image
[masterslider id="2"] The cross media project "Bäuerin-Macht-Image" is intended to motivate agriculturists to reflect on their role models. It also offers information for people with a general interest in agriculture and role allocation between genders. The project has been created by Sabine Traxler and me and started in 2012 as part of the KUPF Innovationsprojekte "Der gläserne Boden". Radio shows on Freies Radio Freistadt, a blog, a workshop, a documentary film and numerous discussions have been means of this project. Many thanks to all who contributed!
